Kane isn't going to go to Arsenal though is he? Or Chelsea? Best thing Spurs can do is to have a good enough season with Kane that it makes leaving to a rival moot because he'd already be at the best place to challenge and therefore going abroad would again be his best bet.

Obviously you can have hope and a bit of confidence that things might be different this season with the change of playing style. But in reality you are starting from scratch and these things take time, look at us for example its taken over three years to get where we are and to be honest Kane ain't going to wait that long. Truth is any possible destination is not off the table if he doesn't go now I guess we will know come January when he can sign a pre-contract.

If he has gone behind Spurs back and negotiated with Munich and another club for a free transfer, against the rules I might add. How can people be ok with this.

We would all be ok to see him go, as he has earned it, but do it the wrong way and he loses more than he realises.

In the old days it was called tapping up but these days clubs find out if a player would be up for the move because there’s no point putting a bid in if he doesn’t want the move.

Accoridng to BILD information, there are rumors that a new interested party is said to have appeared at short notice, who has made Kane a significantly better offer for a free transfer change in 2024

He isn't going to go to just any club. If he stays for another year he'll be 31. At that age, if he hasn't won anything he's going to want to go to somewhere that guarantees trophies and/or a legit chance at CL. Only City does that in the PL. If Liverpool win something this season you can argue for them. That's it at the moment. I think this is why he was keen on a move to Bayern to begin with. The only reason he's mulling it over is the timing. If this was earlier in the season he'd be on the plane already.

Eh? According to any searches I’ve done Kane can’t sign a pre contract with any domestic club until one month of his contract remains …..happy to be proven otherwise which is why i said unless the rules have changed

As far as I know he can sign in January with any non uk team only

I'm not a Spurs fan and I have observed this "saga" over the summer and I think Levi has played a blinder. Kane is probably worth upwards of 60m to Spurs this season if they can qualify for the Champions League and after that you have to find a "replacement" which we all know will be nye on impossible. Once Bayern made an acceptable offer - that ball is well and truly in Kane's court. If he doesn't move to Bayern and stays at Spurs, I can even see him signing a new contract with a fixed lower fee release clause just so that Spurs don't lose him for nothing - but maybe that's just the romantic in me. Maybe Spurs can even win something this season and appease him. He obviously does or did have some interest in Bayern otherwise they would not have let this drag on so long - but maybe he's just finding it difficult to leave his boyhood club (more romanticism on my part) - but whatever he does, even if he ends up at Arsenal (which I highly doubt) he has been a great servant to the club, deserves his place as a Spurs legend and should never be underestimated as a truly top class player and person.
