Kane isn't going to go to Arsenal though is he? Or Chelsea? Best thing Spurs can do is to have a good enough season with Kane that it makes leaving to a rival moot because he'd already be at the best place to challenge and therefore going abroad would again be his best bet.

If City win the league this season, they will be favourites for the following season, so unless the secret bidder is them, we should be ok.
I'm not a Spurs fan and I have observed this "saga" over the summer and I think Levi has played a blinder. Kane is probably worth upwards of 60m to Spurs this season if they can qualify for the Champions League and after that you have to find a "replacement" which we all know will be nye on impossible. Once Bayern made an acceptable offer - that ball is well and truly in Kane's court. If he doesn't move to Bayern and stays at Spurs, I can even see him signing a new contract with a fixed lower fee release clause just so that Spurs don't lose him for nothing - but maybe that's just the romantic in me. Maybe Spurs can even win something this season and appease him. He obviously does or did have some interest in Bayern otherwise they would not have let this drag on so long - but maybe he's just finding it difficult to leave his boyhood club (more romanticism on my part) - but whatever he does, even if he ends up at Arsenal (which I highly doubt) he has been a great servant to the club, deserves his place as a Spurs legend and should never be underestimated as a truly top class player and person.

In fact I just don’t see Kane even wanting to play for another premier league team (maybe city but spurs fans get that move as ticks every single box….every other move has at least one question mark)
Even as a one off Tottenham will match any signing on fee and contract under kanes nose so it won’t be about money either ….we just can’t afford to pay a squad of players stupid money but one player we can

In the old days it was called tapping up but these days clubs find out if a player would be up for the move because there’s no point putting a bid in if he doesn’t want the move.
