Man City

115 charges and all that ... But that's not the point of this article

After their loss last night at Aston Villa , they have now failed to win in 4 straight matches in the league.

As others have already mentioned here on this board , it really is pretty laughable that we find ourselves now only 3 points behind the cheats despite having our worst start ever to a PL season and all the other distractions that have surrounded Man United both on and off the pitch this season.

Yes we all know that they are miles better than us and apparently they have the best of everything as we are constantly reminded in the media but that's precisely my point.

No way should we be a Crystal Palace home win last September away from being leveled on points with the treble winners.

And I don't think this is simply a case of "City will do what they always do after Christmas" like everyone keeps saying.

They lost more talent on that team than they added in the summer with Güngogan and Mahrez gone and of course KDB injured. It might not be that simple this time.

4 matches in the league without a win would be a crisis at any big club in Europe.

But then again I said "Big Clubs" , didn't I ...

This City side is hugely overrated. The prem in general is currently overrated as well.

Think the prime Man Utd were better for sure.

Good article.
But personally, who cares, whether it's Arsenal, Pool, City its all the same to me. I want it to be us.

I understand the sentiment but in this case it would be nice if someone stopped City doing 4 in a row.

Except the Dippers

Maybe.

Now they've won it I'm not that bothered about them tbh

The season Leicester won, the league was more competitive that year and the top teams dropped points. The same could happen this year with Villa winning the league.

City definitely haven't been up to their usual standards but I think a bit like us under Ferguson, as long as they're near the top by Christmas they'll still be favourites. If they can get both Rodri and KdB back fit and playing regularly they'll be a different beast.

City now and man utd back then definitely have the January to march long winning run in common.

Wonder how that came about at United?

Did someone ask for a show of hands? A ballot? Maybe they got the players to split into 2 groups?

We should be grateful there was an even number of players with exactly a half and half split between the Ten Hag In and Ten Hag Out camps.

Imagine if there was an odd number and the 'dressing room source' having to let the journalist know that 47.6% of the players had turned against Ten Hag...

Also don't forget this would be their 4th title in a row which has never been done in the PL. Hard to maintain that standard for so long.

Cheats? When? What was the score last game you had against them in your turf? Not only are cheat goals now impossible with VAR but your were completely outplayed by City. No cheating!
