I know it's been asked a few times on ja606 but what is the best VPN for getting BBC iPlayer in mainland Europe?

NordVPN is as good as any imo

Agreed.
That said ESPN and some others are also interrogating the location / GPS chip in mobile devices and denying access. Also, they are using algorithms to detect IPs commonly used by VPNs and denying access. The VPNs are using ways around it cos they know where a lot of their money comes from.

Nord, express or ipvanish, just go with whichever you find the best deal on.

Nord is good Boris, your secrets will be safe, being serious I have house in Spain my mrs spends most of the year there apparently the gardener needs careful supervision, it gets past most Geo blocks and is easy to use
