I don't know about the best but whenever I was abroad I never had a problem with Surfshark.
I use it on my firestick too for IPTV.

Dunno about mainland Europe but Windscribe has always worked for me and it's cheaper than chips

That said ESPN and some others are also interrogating the location / GPS chip in mobile devices and denying access. Also, they are using algorithms to detect IPs commonly used by VPNs and denying access. The VPNs are using ways around it cos they know where a lot of their money comes from.

Nord, express or ipvanish, just go with whichever you find the best deal on.
