Great point at Anfield!

Good resilient performance by the team yesterday. Great point to take on the road and at probably the most difficult stadium too!

It was great to see the team didn’t buckle under the pressure and got through.
We must have one of the strongest spines in the team for a good few years now, maybe going all the way back to the invincibles.
Saliba. Gabriel and Rice, solid as a rock

Martinell, as much as he’s been promising over the years, he’s hasn’t improved or gone to the next level. I’ve been saying it for years that he has no end product and constantly loses the ball.

If we can get someone in to compete with him or even a better quality replacement for him and Zinchenko then we’ll be set for years

Liverpool were at home! We'll see if Liverpool's performance yesterday was more indicative of how they are playing, or if they produce what they did against Utd for the rest of the season!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair to us Arsenal had a full week to prepare while we had to progress in the league cup.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You rested most of your first team. But you can't deny Liverpool away performances haven't been that great, but have been dominant at home till the Utd game. Like I said, we'll see, but you will certainly be there at the end like City, so I am not suggesting that Liverpool aren't in the title race. Just felt you needed to win more than us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Partey was missing for large parts of last season too. Rice and Havertz didn't even have to move house, did they? Rest of your team is the same and you had made a great move in signing Timber, but the injury curse struck. As I said, you just need tweaks. We have leeway to not win the league because of the revolution of the team whereas Arsenal have to win it soin after challenging last season and playing at an amazing level consistently for a couple years or so now.

Arteta plays a modified Pep system, which is notoriously difficult to adjust to. You only have to look at how long players take to fit in when they join City. It's the same situation at Arsenal. I don't think rebuilding Havertz from the ground up has been easy or in fact finished. He is going to improve. Rice has fit in very well, but again his game is only half finished. Rice does not have the attacking prowess of Rodri at the moment.

This is why most pundits who watch us often repeat that we haven't clicked yet. Not like last season. We are living of the understanding between Gabriel/Saliba and Rice is a quick learner. Similarly, Raya is still adjusting in his directional kicking, and understanding with his CBs. Thats why he has made mistakes coming for crosses rather than leaving it to them.

So like Liverpool we are nowhere near clicking and are going to get better! You've had Nunez, Diaz and Salah for more than a season and Gakpo joined last Jan. Not sure how you can use that as an excuse to why your attack lacks the penetration of your past! Mane/Salah/Firminho etc. were on another level.

Yeah, McAllister and sobozlai came with good reps. Removing the Stink of chelsea from havertz has been a huge challenge and will continue to be. Parteys injury has not really helped Rice, he's been shunted from #6 to #8 although he is selling at #6 now.

Easy to say we've had them for more than a season but Diaz Nunez and Gakpo we're all signed in different transfer windows to go with the revolution of the team.

I didn't use that as an excuse as to why our attack lacks penetration like the past. Does it? We are scoring plenty with a new team. Looking at my comments I don't know where that is coming from tbh. We have brought in Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo, Endo, Grab, AMA, Szobo.

That's 5 out of 6 starters. I've seen a lot of weird opinions since the game but acting like that is not major upheaval is a joke. If Arsenal had to replace just Saka and Martinelli alone, they might never challenge for the league again, you never know. A year is hardly enough as it took Arteta what? 5 years to get Arsenal to almost challenge for the league? What then is one year when tha year is full of arrivals and departures.l?

There's more I could say but I don't see the point. It's obvious to me that Arsenal are making tweaks while we are rebuilding. Denying that is deluded beyond belief

I am not even sure what your point is. Are you trying to make out that Arsenal are further down the line in development than Liverpool? Hilarious. Football doesn't work like that, and it doesn't afford time. Or why are Aston Villa doing so well and Man Utd and Newcastle in free-fall? If you honestly think like that development continues linearly and clubs don't need to spend £200m a season just to stand still, you are deluding yourself. Of course, Klopp will continue to use that excuse forever and not blame the fact that Nunez is a dud and Diaz is not having the sort of impact he had in his first season.

We've had issues with Martinelli regressing, but at least he is young enough to turn his form around. But he won't get that long. Arteta has learnt that from Pep. Every season is new and you literally after to start from beginning assuming nothing!

Remember Martinelli & Nketia haven’t cost us as much as Diaz and Nunez. Cody Gakpo was a panic buy to deny Man U a striker. That was genius by Klopp, coz Man U bought an expensive young Jackson like player.

OK

We also have players that cost very little or next to nothing and all the players we've brought in cost less than Rice and Havertz alone. You don't wanna go there.

When everyone is fit, we have a better team than Liverpool.
They will get beat at the Emirates.
