It’s noticeable as well that when the likes of you and Stevie can’t actually find a response to a point, you just resort to snidey comments or daft smilies.
Btw-the worst ‘shirt pull-no penalty’ was by Goldson on Duk last season. Reason it was worse was because the ref and linesman both have unfettered views of it, and VAR didn’t even suggest a review. Goldson should have seen red and a penalty.
Can’t remember if the VAR team were stood down after that one either.

‘No the ref watch in the press and journal agreed it wasn’t a penalty.
I could also sit here and post a long list of other incidents that were errors, even Celtics third goal where a foul on Diomande should have seen the goal ruled out by VAR.’
Yaaaaaasssss!!! I didn’t think we would see it on here-the ‘foul’ on Diomande!!! What foul?! He ran across the front of Kuhn and tripped. A foul?!? That’s immense!
As for the other part, I can’t read the ‘ref watch’ by Finlay Elder, whoever he is, but I’ve found this as part of it: ‘Ref Watch: Inconsistent Don Robertson, as Andrew Dallas on VAR fails to even review two penalties Aberdeen should have had against Rangers’ from that final.
Doesn’t look like he agrees, but I can’t read the article.

This is exactly the issue, you have fans that can’t even read thinking they can interpret and apply refereeing rules.

Do you think it's impossible for dyslexic people to be referees?

The sad fallout from this debacle is that the OF game coming up is going to be scrutinised to death by VAR for every tug or shove anywhere near the penalty area.
The game can easily stagnate and become sterilised so we should all be careful what we wish for.

What a brouhaha over the Diddy Cup.
Looking at the intensity of Bear input here over the past 5 days.
It’s almost as if … erm ... some think a trophyless season awaits.

Well I am certainly not going to read back through this thread! I assume the usual moonhowlers and wums have been out in full force this week.
For me, I actually enjoyed the cup final, a good old fashioned end to end game especially in the second half. Both teams made mistakes gave and took pressure. A draw seemed a fair result then on to the lottery/skill of penalties. Celtic won, we lost.

Can't take issue with any of that Schiz.
It was a few days before I got around to watching it.
End to end stuff - pure 70's potboiler.

IIRC most tims just accepted that it was possibly a penalty and moved on.
So many incidents apparently not reviewed by VAR making me suspicious about the 'preparation' for this game leading to the var team taking their eye off the ball, literally.

Had a rare TV dinner just then Scottish news.
Mr Clement said today 'All of Europe is talking about this'.
FFS 99.5% of Scots aren't talking about it.
