What is the point though, Stevie? He might be a baldy Beale but bottom line is he's been in the seat during a necessary contraction and that is scheite to be blamed for that.
Whilst directors are still bailing out the club with confetti conversions albeit at reduced share prices they remain at ambitious levels compared to open market transactions that are taking place around 5p. That values the club around £25m and a buyout - which would have to be at a premium to that of course - might be your best bet? The owners directors can still turn that around but they won't spell out how many years of pain it will take to achieve an enhanced value because it won't go down well.
Ironically, Ashley was well on the way down that path and if it wasn't for the greed of King wanting to coin in himself and stoking false fires against SD you might have been in a better place. Both are a pair of cants that just wanted a quick buck but didn't know how to do it without hubris but it remains amusing that the latter has really facked it and is reliant on the board he briefs against to recover any of his second £20m loss. Successful businessman my erchie.
Cups and Europe don't matter aside from minor bragging rights. The league is the crown jewel and our gifting you of one has only made your struggle worse. You might not see it that way but in hindsight, from a business perspective, it was probably the worst outcome.
You might disagree with this assessment. Other fans might cling to some CA compo impact even if the facts don't support that being material. The reality your title winning chances short to medium term are based on us facking up again. Hopefully we have learned not to entrust the most important role in a certain type of character for that role.
For you lot, you need to sell whoever's form is high when you get the chance. Do so every window and you might just claw your way back eventually? Another risk is some super league thing and only one team getting an invite which would likely end any notion of equality.
Happy New Year.

The job of a Rangers manager for the foreseeable future is to maintain their position as the second force in Scottish football and deliver the occasional trophy when Celtic slip up.
Clement has shown that he's capable of doing that so it's pointless to replace him in the search for more success.
Replacing him with a manager who could play a more stylish brand of football might be a good move but not financially.

Looked like we were turning a corner…..then he picks that team for the trip to Paisley and it all falls on its erse
If he can’t win the old firm on the 2nd……he needs to go
Rank rotten league points tally
No consistency in anyway, shape or form
Hasn’t laid a glove in any old firm yet
Managers have been sacked for way less than this in the past

"Rangers avoided ‘expensive mistake’ by hiring Clement"

I assume being committed to paying him so much money may be a part of the board's thought process. Question they have to be asking themselves now is he gonna cost them now in failed price money and match day spending?

"And Clement said: "I'm 200% sure we're going to be much better in October and November, December and the months coming after.""
"He had one disadvantage last season, that he played all the games. That's also my responsibility. In moments he was not as fresh as what he should be, so that's something we want to change for this season."

These quotes are rather fine with him hindsight. They were at the time but even more so now.

That Kieran Maguire is a tadger.
It was a good decision not to pay Graham Potter £12 million a year?! Was it an option?!?
And if he’s correct, paying Beale £2.5 million a year was not a good financial decision, same as extending Clement’s contract.
He really has a blind spot when it comes to talking rangers.

I don’t but into this “Rangers turning a corner” stuff. It looked more like Clements ‘random team selector’ got lucky against several teams in crisis.
His fundamental management principles seem flawed?
No style of play
Squad rotation (or doesn’t know his best 11)
Building a “new young team” whilst bringing Tav, Balogun, Hagi out of cold storage
Etc

Clement's either a fvkcing genius or an idiot.
If he's actually trying to be a successful Rangers manager, then he's an idiot. He plays players out of position and drops form players. His own fans are baffled by his decisions.
If he's trying to get himself sacked, he's a genius. He's playing the fans, the press and the board like fiddle.

Waited a while before I judged Clement.
Can now see he's a whining 'everybody's fault except me' dud.
Off-field tho I go with Franks 'genius' assessment.
He's gonna walk away a lot richer than he arrived.
