Nacho should start the final he’s always dangerous. Amad will play wingback not as the 10. He’s better out wide.

There’s no way Amorim is playing Amad at RWB in a cup final.

I think that's the obvious place for him to play - especially as Dalot won't be available. He's good there.

Fingers crossed but it looks like we may have options going into that final now in terms of the team. If we can get everyone up to speed it'll be the strongest the team has looked all season under Amorim.

For the final I really wouldn't be surprised to see Shaw in at LWB, Maz at RWB, Mainoo alongside Casemiro in midfield and Bruno next to Amad in the No10 role. Perhaps the curveball would be Garnacho starting as a false 9 of sorts to draw one of the Spurs CBs out.

An even bigger curveball would be if Amorim goes 4-4-fu**ing 2

I've addressed that in a previous post. We should take nothing for granted but I'd be surprised if we didn't make it. Same goes for Spurs, too.

Nothing is decided yet.

I'd say we have one foot and a couple of toes in final and Spurs perhaps just the one foot given they only have a 2 goal lead and now have to go away from home.

Fully expecting it to be Utd v Spurs though and winner takes all.

Yes it is. I've just booked a place to stay in Manchester that evening and they better not balls this up!*

*I have put a few quid on Bilbao to go through though just to cover the cost of the accommodation just in case.

Yeah it’s incredible. I hope he’s seen them.

Athletic are going to throw everything at United in the 2nd Leg. United have to be best prepared for Thursday night at OT. If we get through that ... and nothing is guaranteed even at 3-0, then Amorim can thinkabout the rest of the seasons games.

They won’t overturn 3-0 imo

They will have to come at us at some point, so it sort of suits us to play on the counter. I will be shocked if we don't score, and the last round will have focused our minds - if we don't get through from here, we deserve all the pelters we would get.

Players coming back from injury, it's starting to look a little bit up for the end of the season.............well until this weekend's match
