Garnacho & Amorim

Neither covered themselves in glory with their post match comments.

I get Garnacho’s frustration for being dropped for Mount but he’s also nowhere near as good as he thinks he is at this point of his career.

Amorim should not have thrown Garnacho under the bus either by saying he was dropped for a miss in the semi final.

Been travelling all day and missed a lot of the fall out. What's happened? What's been said?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Garnacho has essentially said he feels hard done by the get only 20 mins after playing a bigger part in each previous round and Amorim gave a dig back that he didn’t play because he missed a big chance in the semi final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't get it either tbh. To start Mount over him was dubious but he should have changed it at HT as it clearly wasn't working for us.

In fact he could have even started both and dropped Hojlund and thrown Spurs a curve ball. Hojlund is like playing with a man down anyway.

I do think he's struggling to handle managing a big club. The Rashford stuff, now Garnacho and he's barely giving Kobbie a look in. Perhaps it's just too much for him to handle?

Can't afford to sack him anyway. That's our transfer kitty. 😂

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The reason he didn't change it was because Garnacho is so one dimensional that he could only be effective as a last 20 minute sub. I'm not trying to sound like an Amorim fanboy but I refuse to see how anybody who has had the misfortune of watching Garnacho play doesn't realise that's the only role he could perform in that game. What the hell else would he have done? He's never shown it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Frustrates me a lot at times too..... however he hasn't done worse than Mount. If anything he's been slightly better.

A false 9 was an option for us last night but he decided to continue the Hojlund farce which hasn't worked all season. I think he had a really bad night sadly did Ruben. Got it all badly wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He certainly did. But again, what part of Garnacho's game or footballing history makes you think he could play through the middle? That wouldn't just be brave, it would be unprecedented to stick an entitled and inconsistent winger in the middle just so him and his brother didn't cry about it after? Or am I misreading this? Is Garnacho actually right here? Where being a useless, entitled piece of shiiite should be rewarded? A new haircut is worthy of the centre stage his performances didn't warrant? It's United, of course the fans back him. Same sh*t, different year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Garnacho didn't have to be the one to play through the middle tbf. Could have played Bruno as false 9 or maybe even Mount himself and had Garnacho and Amad as the runners.

He should have started instead of Mason Mount. He’s just one of every other footballer in the squad that should have played over Hojlund, who wouldn’t even start for Southampton.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd start my granny over Hojlund. And she's long dead. As for Garnacho, I'd start Mount over him any day of the week. Because the attitude of the players at this football club absolutely sucks and Garnacho is a great example of it. He's achieved nothing in his career and yet is universally disliked, not because he plays for United but because he thinks playing for United makes him a big deal
---------------------------------------------------------------
Well that’s just daft. Garnacho is a vastly superior player to the English VdB. You’re speaking about Garnacho like he’s Ronaldo, he’s not worse than other young players.

When does Hojlund work? He's garbage. If Zirkzee was match fit it would have been him 100%.

Anyway it didn't happen.

Garnacho is better than Mount though. Did more in 5 mins than Mount did. Actually had a shot on target and made their keeper make a decent save.

It’s worked loads of times. Instead we played Bruno out of position because in centre mid for Hojlund and Mount when we need creativity and goals.

I’m surprised you’re defending these moronic decisions from this facking useless cuuuunt managing the side.

Merry he should've gone

Onana
Dorgu Maz Maguire Yoro shaw
Case Ugarte
Amad Bruno nacho
Rasmus

I get Shaw is massively unfit, but Maz at wing back is p!ss poor, and Dorgu seems comfortable on both sides, despite being bang average himself. These are just our options unfortunately.
Bruno at CM is just a waste.
Rasmus, yes, he's poo, but he's been ok in the Europa so far but I would have subbed him much sooner than Ruben did with how he was playing.

Basically Ruben fecked up, almost as if it was deliberate or the occasion was just too much for him and he crumbled under the pressure.

posted 2 days, 4 hours ago

Or perhaps drop Shaw put dorgy there and Amad wingback, even though I hate seeing him at wingback. And mount on the right of the 3.
Hell, maybe even start Eriksen there and bring mount on later.

Either way, he picked a terrible lineup from the start with people out of position.

posted 2 days, 4 hours ago

He could've done a ton better with the selection than what we saw anyway. Any random fan could've picked a better side than this stubborn Portuguese cun7
