Krstovic?

From today's Guardian, admittedly under 'rumours':

Nikola Krstovic was Lecce’s top scorer last season and that could earn him a move to Leeds. A tally of 11 goals in 37 games helped keep Lecce in the league, putting his price tag up to €30m (£25.5m) – although it is suggested Leeds will not be paying that figure for the striker.

Anyone know anything?

Would like to think if he was premier league level he'd playing for someone better than Leece at 25.

Harvey Elliott available for 40 million. We should be all over that, he won't be short of options though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lots of players haven't landed at a bigger club by 25 that go on to have good careers. How old was Virgil van Dijk before he moved to the Premier League? 24 when he moved to Southampton.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Van Djik is a comanding CB though not a striker, plus he was playing for Celtic before Southampton who are a better outfit than the side that finished 17th in Italy last season. Feels like a championship signing to me
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So what your saying is players, cant improve around the 23/24. There a whole host of reasons why it can and does happen

again, 40 million seems over priced.. and again, I'd take him..

is it me or do these figures seem inflated?

said for years transfer fees aren't to a strict formula, or an exact science I get that.. but these fees I'm reading about seem way over the top.

British proven pl talent comes at a premium

He's a massive talent. I'd take him.

Whoever gets him will probably allow that talent to flourish. He said himself (in a roundabout way) he's
wasting away at Liverpool. Been great for England.

40 million is a lot for a single player given how many positions we need signings in, especially when Elliott is more of a RW, and thats one of the few positions I'm fine with. He could maybe do a job for us at 10.

Think its more likely that Eze leaves Palace and Elliott is signed to replace him, though.

Elliotts stinks of Rowe Smith.

In and out at a topside, playing with great players, which always helps.

Nice and tidy on the ball, but not quick.

Goes to a side where he’s expected to star, doesnt quite look the same.

£40m is strong money
