28 Years Later

What a film! (There might be spoilers in my post below)

Really enjoyed this, it felt a lot different to the first two but I loved the themes explored in this.

Coming of age, mortality, letting go of family for different reasons.

The soundtrack amazing throughout.

Occasionally very funny (when Spike sees Eriks girlfriend on the phone), and sometimes strange, that ending.

Ralph Fiennes was great, but Alfie Williams as Spike gave a fantastic performance. Will keep an eye out for his other roles in the future.

I thought the intro was almost as good as the intro from 28 Weeks, and the choice of music they chose to play for that part was genius.

I love this 28 series and can't wait for more

Two pieces of music I loved from this film:

Promised Land - Young Fathers
Lowly - Young Fathers

Boyle has always used music so well in his films
