Garnacho

If we can afford to, I hope we hold out for at least 50 million for Garnacho or the deal is off.

When you see what the likes of Elanga, Madueke & Kudus have gone for this summer and the amount Spurs are offering for Savinho after one poor season in England we shouldn't sell on the cheap.

He does have other options though, he's just turning them down right now. So if Chelsea walk away (which I would do if I were Chelsea) then I reckon Garnacho would rather move to another club than rot in the reserves which we could probably afford with his lowish wages.

I think he's got more potential than Elanga and Madueke (haven't seen Gittens) and is a couple years younger than both.

It’s annoying he’s being a diiiickhead as we’ve got more attacking depth now, on paper at least, that we wouldn’t need to rely on him and run him into the ground like we have done the last couple of years. Would have been good to have him as an impact player as he’s so dangerous against tired legs.

Exactly, it's how he should have used but due to the failings of Rashford, Antony, Mount & Sancho we had to play him every week.

He was dangerous until the end product where his final ball or shot were generally really poor. The number of times he struck a ball that either went into row z or dribbled into the keeper hands.

Of course running him into the ground at an early age isn't ideal but then you look at Yamal who's 10 years old and played about 500 games the past year and still has time for his midget parties.

Yes but I’d argue he’s more developed there than most players his age, I don’t think Saka even had better numbers at the same age.

Yamal’s obviously an alien, think his numbers are better than Messi’s at the same age.

If he wants to play petulant child, let him. It's World Cup season.

I'm sure he'll love leaking to the press, making outbursts, not being committed to the cause the 9 months before the world cup on his continent starts.

This is arguably the most important season of his career coming up. A young talent affecting a world cup? It's every aspiring footballers dream right?

If he performs he 'might' be considered for the Argentina squad. Carry on as he is he will just be forgotten about. It's his choice.

Id take 35m just to get rid, let him be himself elsewhere.

He can sulk all he wants, but if he remains at United when the transfer window closes, his future career rests on September to June 25/26.

Ball is in United's court really.

More developed/experienced than players his age but still hasn’t learned when to shoot/pass. His football brain didn’t develop at all in the season and a half of regular first team football.

But player development isn’t linear. It also doesn’t help that Hojlund is absolutely facking shiiiiit and we have nobody attacking the back post from the right.

I suspect things would look different playing with Sesko and Mbuemo.

You've convinced me, he should stay at Utd and reach his potential in your attack

That would be preferable, but I’m not sure there’s a way back for him now if stories are to be believed.
