2025/26 kicks off at Molineux with a visit from the now former champions and although our visitors will be disappointed coming off the back of a trophy-less season, expectations of the two fan bases couldn't be more different.
More than 200k spent by City, Wolves have barely spent the money they gave us for Ait-Nouri, on new players at least. We can probably expect additions before the window closes but none likely before Saturday.
Free hit or keep it tight and hope for the best? I suspect Pereira will send his side out looking for a result, he won't get one.

Is Jan Budtz the keeper people are thinking of? There are way more than 10.

That's the one I was thinking of.
Bjorklund, Neilsen, Bischoff had dropped off my radar.

Keeping my fingers crossed that in the next week or so we bring in a forward who can score a few goals for us. But at the moment there is a belief that defender Krejci might be next through the door. Do we pronounce that Crikey?
And then attention seems to focus on midfield. Casado of Barcelona is being linked although that looks unlikely. The player wants to stay at Barca but the club are saying he is unlikely to get games so who knows. Alternatively there’s Uche of Getafe which looks more possible. Getafe need to sell to escape FFP problems in Spain and he might become available at a bargain price.
All good to strengthen the squad but we need to replace Cunha’s goals.

So Finland isn't Scandinavian then

Evidently Finland is not typically considered a Scandinavian country, though it is often evidently included in the broader grouping of Nordic countries.
Scandinavia evidently specifically refers to Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, which are evidently located on the Scandinavian Peninsula.
