Is this some sort of sick joke?

We play Nasri out wide to 'accomodate' one of the best midfielders in the world.

Its a myth that Nasri can play in midfield. He is far too slow with his passing. He can't see a forward pass like Cesc or even Aaron can. Hence he has a grand total of one assist in the league. Nasri scores goals from wide roles. Thats what he does. But he can't play in midfield as he does not understand how it works. He slows the play down too much. Never ever a midfielder.

well if he is so slow with passing you won't mind it if he moves to us and plays in our midfield.

Wenger has come out and said that the club and Nasri have a financial disagreement at the moment. Nothing about where he wants to play. And this was in a long interview about Nasri on French TV.

Off course Samir thinks he can play in the middle, so does Arshavin and Rosicky. Problem is they are not as good as Fabregas or Ramsey. Wenger pointed out that the biggest reason why Nasri has not agreed a deal is because of financial disagreement. If playing in the middle is a big reason for him wanting to move then Wenger would have said something about that.
