No, he sounded like just another fanboy to me.
As it has been said, and I agree, most people with multi consoles prefer xbox over PS3. Better service and better games. Also a better class of people............joke.
Its all opinion really anyway.

Tony Jeff.
Im neither a fan boy of either unit. Its just hardware from my point of view.
I actually have a great big rather powerful PC. And if PS3 is a ferrari. Then i have a Bugatti Veron mate.
My comment is simply a matter of fact, and if i was going to spend my cash today and had to choose the Xbox or the PS3.... Well 98% of the games are on both systems and are exactly the same so i would have no problem in getting the Xbox.
However. Red ring, Online Subscription, Uncomfortable controller(IMO) Kinda Ugly and No BluRay only help the PS3 to sell more units.
The only difference that separates them is Exclusive titles, and in that department they both again have their advantages.
PS3 is better. And im not a fanboy because i can read and indeed Understand the technical specs of the unit.
That said. Xbox will launch a new console soon enough and that will probably blow us away. I just want the best my money can buy. If thats from microsoft then fine.

I know the ps3 is more powerful but the problem with your argument is there have been games specifically designed for the ps3 and they didnt exactly blow me away graphics wise! If Sony get their act together and drastically improve the online experience for users and as you pointed out get more developers designing specifically for ps3 then I would agree that ps3 is better. For now as a mainly online gamer I would choose xbox all day long!

When people say X-box online is better, what exactly do they mean?
The only difference I've ever noticed is more people on xbox but I don't think that necessarily means better. If anything, it just means more tw ats.
Also, I have heard many independent developers prefer making games for PSN over XBLA. One developer went so far as to describe XBL as 'the place games go to die.'

Mate im not arguing about anything, lets get that right. I stated a straight forward point of fact from a technical standpoint and from the side your rarely will here from the developers.
I have PS3 is better technically and you have agreed, and i have explained why PS3 is lacking exclusive game as is xbox as 98% of the developers will release on both platforms.
SO look at it this way, take what i have said an do what u like with it but dont assume im arguing with you or anyone else just because my conclusion conflicts with your choice.
Like i said before, the fact that the games are all but a few exactly the same means that i would consider buying an xbow as its not going to be any different and is a little cheaper only save that its missing the BR Disc player, and has a clunky controller and charges for its on-line facility. Just points one might consider before making a purchase.
Blueboy
There is a general belief that the Xbox online system is better, and again knowing a little about it i can tell you that its true.
Xbox have a much broader and reliable server system, less lag and bugs, and several other good points.
However thats not to say that the PSN is bad, Just not as good, and so people like that lad above cant go calling me a fan boy, i will also mention that the PSN and its users are under constant attack by hackers, and indeed have been heavily effected by such attacks in recent times. Which has let Sont to take drastic measures to plug holes and to renege on the Linux option PS3 user once had.
But i guess if you lay out all that cash to microsoft you should expect to get a better service. the question is, is all that extra money worth it?

Computing power and technical ability is irrelevant.
Its all about gaming experience and youve given enough reasons to say Xbox 360>PS3
