It will be interesting to see what kind of reception "Judas" Bent receives on his first return to the SoL. On the one hand, his goal scoring record was fantastic for us and he was worshiped by the fans. On the other hand, it was so obvious that he had been tapped up by Villa, and by leaving the way he did, left us up the creek without a paddle.
I think he will get a bit of a mixed reception on Saturday, with the majority being against him...
Bent's reception?

It isn't that bad mate: A nice beach and some decent eateries for families..It's on the night time bars when it can get a bit rough, so you should be fine..
You would have been better off stoppping at Roker or Seaburn in Sunderland or in nearby South Shields were it is far more civilised...

Darren Bent is ill so Alex McLeish offers to do his shopping for him. Whilst in Sainsbury's he bumps in to Roy Hodgson. 'What you doing here?' asks Woy.
'Getting a bag of potatoes for Darret Bent' replies Alex.
'Oh. Sounds like a good swap if you ask me' replies Woy.
2-1

I'm not sure about the bag of potatoes, but he is certainly a player with a chip on his shoulders..

Whitley ( or as we call it 'Tiddly' ) Bay used to be okay, but it isn't now
South Shields would have been a better bet, and, as 'STRUTH' says, it's far more civilised . . . . and it would have been much easier to get to the match
Night life is also good in 'Sheels, but you're stuck in Tiddly Bay now . . . .

By the way . . . . will your next 'derby' match be against Walsall or Bromsgrove
Oh bother, Bromsgrove went out of business last year, so it will be against The Saddlers

I shouldn't really have to explain a username, but seeing as I'm dealing with someone who is obviously a little intellectually challenged, I will make an exception..
STRUTH is derived from the words Sunderland and Truth, and nothing to do with the word strewth...I hope that helps old bean...
