He's been banned for racist abuse not racism. The FA said that Suarez is not racist. Funnily enough so did Evra but we shouldn't take his word for it, unlike the FA, with his previous.

just looked up the rule which they charged suarez with.

3 (1) A Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour.
(2) In the event of any breach of Rule E 3(1) including a reference to any one or more of a person’s ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, faith, gender, sexual orientation or disability (an “aggravating factor&rdquo, a Regulatory Commission shall consider the imposition of an increased sanction, taking into account the following entry points:

it seems to me that evra initiated this incident with threatening and aggressive behaviour using ethnic origin/nationality so by the fa's own rules evra is just as guilty as suarez.

You forgot to read the small print, where it says, the above is fine if he is a Man United player.

The hypocrisy of a ignorant LFC fan.
You guys have to swallow it or you risk going down a road you won't recover from, at least not in your life time... What you do/ say today has ramifications for further generations of LFC fans, long after you're gone.
Is this ignorant stance, what you want to be remembered for... ?
A shame if it is, you were known as a great club, but this stance can only spiral LFC into the dark ages.
