Ken Bates when he says fans have ben writing into him thanking him for the special offer of freezing season tickets prices.
And anyone who has, needs to have a word with themselves

To add, I suggest you write to Howard Webb. As a top ref and law enforcement officer I am confident he would be happy to discuss the subject, eye-witness accounts and their reliability with you.

So the answer is you don't know.
Don't worry it's nothing to be ashamed of. Being a referee is, but not knowing the answer isn't.
I'll ask one that's properly qualified.

"So the answer is you don't know."
Is that what the poster is saying when he tells people to write to others?

They don't come better qualified than Howard Webb (that is why I recommended him), he is even in Yorkshire you know? Maybe being down south you did not know that.

Well I do not know the answer, although I reckon I could have a good go at cobbling together a response to the question I asked you.
You're the one who says you're a ref, not me. That's why I asked you the question. As I say, don't beat yourself up because you're not man enough to answer the question honestly.
I am aware that Mr Webb is highly qualified and lives in Yorkshire.
Sadly it is South Yorkshire, which would cause confusion through dialect etc.
What you fail to understand is this, when I suggest folk 'write to others' I say it because the question is more suitable to the person more qualified to answer.
In this instance, you are the urchin that says he's qualified! Therefore I asked the question of you. Obviously, your qualifications don't cover the 'fabricating evidence' badge so widely used over here! Which is why I will refer my question to someone who is a real refereee, not one who probably bought his qualifications over the internet.
Have a nice day y'all!

Indeed, I understand you very well. Your question was (ridiculous, but anyway) why do referees that you see on TV do certain things. My games are not broadcast therefore you have asked the wrong person.
Resorting to personal attacks only demonstrates your inability to respond to the matter at hand. Very dreary and not endearing at all.

Are the rules different for referees that appear on camera then?

Instead of asking "less qualified urchins" try writing to them and ask them. Their answers will probably be of more value than ours here.

Why is ignorance not endearing then?

Yes.

Good enough!
We gave away two points today!
Very frustrating watching the second half.
