When we bought Suarez...and city got Aguero

The world of football KNEW they were top players. It's easy to see, skill, pace, technique. Why are we wasting colossal amounts of money on useless players...

Isn't it clear by know that if you fill your team with enough skill, you'll succeed?

Barcelona have all but shown the world what makes a good football team: passing ability, close control and decision making....

If you simply bid for Valencia players every year you'd probably have a great team....

people like banega (watch his performances against xavi & iniesta) - or piatti (great talent) - why not bid for them?

Before anyone goes on a bout this cold windy night in stoke business - just think about it....

Silva, Aguero, Mata, - they're fine with english football - English football isn't THAT rough, seriously...it's not that big a stumbling block for extremely talented footballers!

People say La liga's a 2 club league etc - Where the hell did the above mentioned players come from? Not Barca or Madrid!

And if United get Nicolas Gaitan (touted at 30m now), they'll have a seriously good player on their hands, but if you'd have searched 2 years ago for 'best players in argentina' on google his name would have cropped up. STRAIGHT AWAY

Portugese clubs do it every year. They just raid south america and make a massive profit almost everytime

Xavi

There's always hope. I just hate the "he has potential" label fans & pundits use these days, like they have crystal balls.

We are all entitled to our opinions but "potential" is not a worthy line of defence.

This isnt just Henderson by the way, there are plenty out there.

Henderson is a good player who is under pressure.

Last season he had the third highest key passes in the league - that's not fluke. Great engine and good technique, Needs to work on positional play and his tackling but he'll be a fine player as he clearly wants to succeed and is a good pro.

Confidence is Henderson's big issue this season so far.

Hoody

Your fans came out with similar pointless and irrelevant stats in support of Downing as well.

Tie will tell if Henderson will make it at the top level. He is young and has time on his side. Unfortunately for him he has a few impatient fans against him.

===========================

And more recent stats show Swansea to be better passer's of the ball than Barcelona.

Are you saying that the Swansea players are not good at passing the ball?

I'm not saying it makes Henderson the third best passer of the ball but more that he clearly has the ability to execute them.

Robbing_Hoody,

=========================

No, i'm just pointing out how certain stats are rather flattering put in certain context.

I dont think Swansea are anywhere near as good as Barca, just as i know Henderson is nowhere near being the 3rd best "key" passer of the ball in the Prem.
