I'm a Manc.

Born a Manc, live a Manc, die a Manc.

Dad is from N.I - came over here mid-teens brought me up a Liverpool fan.

Born a Red, live a Red, die a Red.

We're all the same Arab. You know what it means to be a fan. What it means to you. It's actually funny when you think about it - we all come on sites such as this, or sit the pub with our mates, have arguments, throw around insults, maybe even a few punches, but at the base of it all, we are all exactly the same. We all just love our clubs. We have more in common with each other than with the players who wear the shirts of the clubs we support, yet we'll defend those players against anyone.

I actually like that we do that. It makes it interesting.

There is no better way to end a football argument than to mutually agree that football is 4***ng brilliant!

Spurs because of my old man, and because of his grandad.

Thats the way it should always be

Well my dad was from Manchester and he was a City fan.

I was born and grew up in Bolton so I am a Bolton fan.

I'm glad my dad let me choose my own team and didn't brainwash me.

People should support their local team.

I agree and stop aspiring to get into the premiership to access a wider audience, stop taking SKY money as that encourages out of town support, decline stints in Europe as that may attract European fans, check people's birth certificates at the stadium and ban all cameras from showing the games so that it remains with the locals.

Pretty sure that will ensure our local football dynasty for generations.

Spurs are just up the road from the RDBD homeland. 4 generations of clan RDBD have supported the superior Spurs (and I mean going back to before twas even radio) .

Clan RDBD support of Spurs could possibly be over 100+ yrs old.

I remember dressing my daughter in a Man Utd sleep-suit when she was two and once the photos went up on Facebook some of my friends threatened to report me to RSPCC.

My daughter sleeps in a Utd sleep suit as well. She's 7 months old

Utd has been in my family for generations but my family members have a thing for Arsenal fans, I'm getting really worried.

Another great moment was about 6 months ago when upon leaving a sports shop she said "Look, theres Daddys favourite" while pointing at something behind me.

When I asked her to show me what it was she picked out the Man Utd home shirt (amongst all the football shirts on the wall).

She doesnt watch the football with me, so she could only have picked it up when running in and out of the room when I am watching.

I'm an undercover scouser. Born in Liverpool, but left when relatively young due to my dad getting a job in Derby of all places, so get called plastic due to not having an accent anymore........

There was never a time when my chosen team was in doubt. Most of the family are red, (one blue cousin, spoken of in hushed tones) and one of my earliest memories was the noise in the house from the family and friends watching the '77 European Cup final when I was less than 3 years old. I was terrified. lol.

I guess I was lucky to be born somewhere with a great club (some could argue 2, Tranmere were decent back then ).
A friend back home is a bluenose, and he hates glory hunting fans supporting successful teams. However, I have never had an adequate response to why someone born in Huddersfield, brought up and living in Derby, with a Wolves fan dad (also from Huddersfield) would support Everton? Other than being a youngster in the mid eighties of course..............

I support my team cause they give me free burgers at half time, I only pay £5 to get in, we have terraces still, allowed to smoke inside the ground, the club is owned by the supporters and we have a pub on every corner of the ground. Couldn't ask for much more (except maybe a promotion once in a while)
