Yeah I do need to find out some more stuff. Doing high weight's, low reps can only take you so far for building up strength. Protein has helped big time though

Trying to lose weight. I eat 1,000 calories tops a day, and spend an hour doing cardio.

I am not sure if its working or not though. We lost our scales

Am not hugely fat, but want to be slimmer.

Npe don't be stupid. You will only get really unhealthy that way. At your size I would do around 1400-1600 calories a day with cardio while avoiding sugars and salt.

Yeah i'm not that strict either. Literally just two shakes on a workout day and one on the other days. Have a Nandos and KFC at least once a week too. As long as you still see results then it's not too bad I guess

I have been doing it for 9-10 days now.

really I want to lose three to for stone.

My face looks thinner, and I my legs have got stacked-ier since I have cycled 25km on the bike a day ....

but I need to find a way to speed it up. I'd love to go back to Uni in october and be slim.

Basically, I gained a fair bit of weight over last six months. Perhaps as much as two stone.

I have always been quite heavy due to the fact I am really broad, and have manged to gain both muscle and yet keep a bit of squishiness....

Mr C Chocolate is my achilles heel. I allow myself to still eat small amounts of cheese and to have BBQ sauce. Other than that it's all fruit, meat, vegetables and the occasional carb.

I'm probably doing about 50km a day at the minute (that's working and gym together).

Lost about 14 pounds in 2 month so far but had a good gain of muscle as well, especially traps, back and triceps. Big diet change as well though, not so strict on weekends but don't over do it. Without all the work though walking around and that I wouldn't have done as well.

It's a killer though, working then coming home and doing 25-30km on the bike and weightlifting the next day.

I hope it does. Shame it's the best food in the world. 9 days without choccie has been hard.

As I have said, I could have lost 10 pounds for all I know (unlikely)....need to buy scales.

Don - I've never believed in strict eating, when you go that way it gets to you eventually and when you do go for a takeaway or what ever, since you tell yourself you're not aloud it and go for ages without it, you end up eating it more

A but of chocolate,KFC etc, what ever you like, is more than fine as long as it's not all day every day.

Npe you'll only lose loads muscle mass and get really weak. You will lose weight but then put it all back on and then some when you go back to eating normally. Your body is going into starvation mode. It will look to pack on anything it can because it is not getting enough nutrients. You should aim to eat the amount of calories I said, avoid sugars and salt and look into a good meal substitute.
