Hmmm getting Kaka on loan wouldn't be so bad because at least If he fails at the Bridge,at the end of the season we can just say 'thanks but no thanks' jog on back To RM.
.
Buying him for 30-35 mil then if he fails in his first season we end up selling him for half that price,I would be furious.
Kaka on loan for a season would not be a bad deal at all.
Infact, I think it could work out quite well, as he can be the creative midfielder were looking for without hidging Josh's progress.
I think we should go for it. Seems the perfect deal for me...
BUT ONLY ON LOAN!
Having said that,I don't want Kaka anywhere near Chelsea, let him go back to Italy.
Reckon Tore will be a first teamer at Hamburg in 3-4 years, he's a talented player.
Kaka on loan wouldn't be to bad, he would help mcEachran dermis into the first team
Completely agree with you there BK.
Tore is top-class. Don't know why we let him go. Thr best youngster that has left so far IMO
I think Arnesen is going for the players who he knows won't feature in our plans and as such knows he can get them for a cheap fee.
I mean he isn't going for the likes of Lalkovic/McEachran/Pappoe/Clifford, and so on.
Like i said, he probably knows who features in our plans and who dosen't.
I think that was quite smart of him really, going for the 'best of the rest' in a sense.
Confirmed - Gokhan Tore has offically joined Hamburg.
Think it's undisclosed but about 1.3M.
A very sceptical view could be that as soon as Arnesen knew he was off he dreamt up the plan of convincing higher management that some of our above average players, such a Tore, were merely average so that they would be allowed to leave and join him.
I, for one, don't really like the fact that he's gone and taking a load of our youth and a staff member or two with him.
Hmm, could be, but i think Steve Holland would have been asked who he thought was good enough since he's the reserve manager.
Could also be that the players Arnesen has gone for, like i said, he knew they wouldn't feature in our future plans, that's why i don't think he's going for the likes of McEachran and Lalkovic etc.
Kaka on loan would be a win win situation I believe. As was just said, if he doesn't work we can send him on his merry way.
But the name Kaka will raise the club profile another notch, shirt sales would certainly boost. If the next manager could get him playing well then great. He could have another 3 or 4 quality years in him. I would relish watching Kaka at the bridge in a blue shirt.

If you look at it in these views, which would you choose?
Spend 44M on Pastore, and take the risk of him being a success/failure, and if it's the latter, take a 44M loss.
Get Kaka on loan, if he fails, we probably just lose the money that we paid for his wages (as i can guess we'll be paying them) or if he's a success, we could probably get him for 20-25M, and then hopefully it goes from there.
Out of the two, my choice would be Pastore, but NOT for 44M. If we can get him for about 35M i'd go with that. If not, i'd rather take up the loan and see how it pans out.

I don't believe that's what happened. But I'm just saying as unlikely as it seems, it's not completely impossible.
To the 44mil for Pastore...
I think that would be so overpriced it would just be madness. Javier looks to be quality but I cannot make too broad a statement as I don't watch much Serie A on TV and obviously never have seen the kid live. 44mil for a completely unproven player in the PL strikes me as a huge gamble.
Kaka on loan, however, doesn't seem a gamble at all to me. He comes, we get commercial bonus and then either he rocks and stays or he fails and goes.
Don't think you are being ridiculous as it is not your money.
If it was your money you were spending then I do think it would be quite ridiculous.
44million for Pastore is going a bit ober-board IMO.
Also, why are we working on a one or the other basis? We could take Kaka on loan, and also sign Pastore...
Pastore is 21. He would most likely take time to settle, as would Kaka, so they could both be eased into the team and rotated until one of them is on fire and keeps his place. Competition for places is what we need and is what we have been so massively lacking this season.

Be pointless loaning Kaka just to rotate him with someone else to be honest.
We could buy Pastore and rotate him with McEachran/Kakuta in the same position.
If we sign Pastore and he's in good form for the whole season we would have loaned Kaka for nothing, which might not seem a loss, but we would be paying his wages as i doubt Madrid would still want to.
I think Kakuta/McEachran/Sturridge will all be played more next season, and i'd probably put a bet on Lalkovic being in the frame at some point.
But i wouldn't want us to buy Pastore and loan Kaka. One or the other for me.
Watching Ukraine vs France live on ESPN. Ukraine winning 1-0, 35 yard goal just now from Tymoschuk, excellent goal.
Malouda on the bench. Young France squad.
I think McEachran will be going on loan to a PL club. Hopefully Bolton. I think regular first team football could do wonders for him, ala Wilshere and Sturridge. Kakuta could perhaps play a "Kalou style role" ie, impact sub but I'm not convinced with Kakuta yet, he has never really impressed in a first team shirt.
So as far as attacking mid goes next year, I think it'll be Lamps, Yossi, and whoever we sign. So two decent players who will push for position would be good. As I said, we need competition for places.
Can I just add, I only found this article today... Where has it been all my life!
Any player that we sign that has not played in the Premier league is a risk. but we definantly need one of Pastore/Hamsik/Sneijder/Kaka. If we do sign one of these thay may turn out like Tevez and want to leave or could also turn out like Luiz and lighten the place up.
We need play makers and they will not come cheap.
Modric anyone? Looking like a 25mil bid for him would be accepted. I rate him very highly and think he could be the sort of player we're after.
