Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Hoffenheim attacker Roberto Firmino as a possible signing should they see Brazilian playmaker Oscar leave for PSG according to Football Direct News.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho would surely be loathed to lose 22 year old Oscar, who has been a hugely impressive performer since his move to Stamford Bridge back in July 2012, and it seems highly unlikely the Premier League side would sell such a crucial player and don’t appear to have the financial need to do so.
Twice we've been linked with him now.
Getting rid of both Oscar and Mata? Hmmmm
Nope. Can't see that happening so that rumour falls flat.
Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o has laid bare his feud with Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola when they were together at Barcelona.
Eto'o was quickly bombed out of Barca when Guardiola became coach.
"When he arrived, I reminded Guardiola that he'd never been a great player. I told him in no uncertain terms that Eto'o was the one who would make him win," Eto'o told Bein Sports.
Eto'o, who was visibly upset, continued with his tirade.
"I did a lot for the club. Guardiola was unlucky enough to have to play me for twenty minutes against Chivas and I scored three goals. From then on, he never had the courage to say things to my face. I didn't want to talk to him until he apologised to me.
"I told him ten times, and explained it to him at length. Pep wanted to give me lessons on how to be a striker when he was a midfielder. I said to him, 'You're not normal, are you?' The true story is that Pep never respected these things in the world of football."
Rumours persist that Eto’o, who is on a one-year contract, is still furious with Mourinho for off-the-record comments questioning his age that were leaked by a French TV station and is determined to leave at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old said: “My ‘problem with Mourinho’? Don’t talk about it. I score goals. I have not stopped doing it but I cannot do that if I stay on the sidelines. Even though I am old, I still know how to score.”
Asked how Mourinho differs from other managers he has played under, Eto’o said: “This is a difficult question. There is something in his approach to a match that the others don’t have but I cannot say because we want to win the Champions League. He becomes someone else in the build-up to matches. Like any human being, he sometimes loses his mind. He proved it like when he did it with me [by calling me old] but he takes all the pressure on himself.”

I've done the same. Just woke up from my 6 hour nap around 1030p
Quick thoughts on that Costa fellow? Haven't seen him play as he doesn't ply his trade in MLS...
Power nap
I like him. His temperament is better than what it used to be imo ( he had a reputation as a bit of thug), it still gets him in trouble at times but he's curbed it down a lot over the past season or so.
Quick, powerful, and as evidence by this season has an eye for goal. Come into is his own since he's become #1 striker. Pretty much a very good all-round striker that has a bit of everything to his game.
Sounds good to me. Just found the article on him that ead posted earlier
