I imagine Fergie will do the latter in big games gazza.
Hernandez has had an excellent season but he's very ineffective without service, as shown against Barca. He still has a lot to improve in terms of his all round game.

Al-Habsi's a very good player, while I agree he's better than Wigan, I like Wigan so I'm happy

but Bolton have a good back-up 'keeper in Bogdan anyway, the good goalies just keep churning out at the Reebok Stadium

Yeah Billy Clifford plays all down the right, the opposite positions to Zhirkov you could say (interesting how Yuri played opposite today actually as LCM).

Billy Clifford is an exciting, fast player. He's one of the best youngsters around. Technically he's fairly gifted, although I don't think he has the cutting edge required to make it. Still, he could end up a squad player.

And yes I do imagine they'll be the next four to obtain they're own number.

Yossi-Kaby-Mikel-Malouda
.................Kakuta.............
… … … …Drogba..........

I s'pose that could have been the formation, although I think it was more of a 4-2-1-3 or 4231

The website I think perhaps didn't want to give much away. I'll watch the free preview of the Pompey game; maybe they'll discuss that more then.

I do agree tho that it's very misleading to everyone.

The other thing I did notice is AVB appears to have come to the conclusion already of Torres or Drogba, not Torres and Drogba.
-------

Yeah. Also he put Malouda on the Drogba team (Flo hasn't helped Torres at Chelsea one bit, but has a good understanding with Drogba). At the same time, Anelka is the only player to have assisted Torres at Chelsea. He in fact did it once more. Try definitely have a good understanding. The only thing which goes against this idea is how Yossi and Torres were in different sides.

That's a good point. However, the right manager can get the best out of them (Hiddink did). AVB will not accept any attitude problems I believe.

If anyone in the team doesn't work hard enough, they'll either be sold or dropped. As I said, AVB seems to have more balls than Carlo. He'll either get the best out of them or they won't be playing often (or even at all) next season.

Di Matteo will probably be more aggressive than Wilkins. There should be stocks and rotten veg for bad play

Thanks for the link tho.

I see where you're coming from, although it's less of a concern to me. It would be very sneaky of them indeed. We need to freshen up our team anyway. AVB will probably want to be here for the long term. I'm confident at least one of the 2 will be sold.

If they get away with it, Sturridge, Zhirkov and Kalou would all provide stiff competition for them. They may not be world class, but still good players. They'll get dropped at some point. Even if we have to wait till January (still unlikely to me), we'll get at least one new forward to displace them. That much I'm sure of.
