"Juve are waiting for the meeting between Sarri's agent, Ramadani, and the Chelsea management to understand how to free the coach from the London club and allow him to sign with Juventus. Ramadani is still in Milan and will leave for London in just a few hours."

Would rather not face Real Madrid because Hazard would probably do some damage against us.

Jean-Michel Aulas thanked Chelsea after their Europa League final victory over Arsenal confirmed his club's return to the Champions League group stage.

The Ligue 1 giants avoided having to go through the qualifying rounds after the Gunners lost 4-1 to Maurizio Sarri's side in Baku.

"Bravo to Chelsea for this beautiful victory in the Europa League thanks to N'Golo [Kante] and Olivier who gave us the happiness to participate in the group phase of the Champions League," Aulas wrote on Twitter.

"Bravo and thanks to Bruno for this tremendous performance."

Now give us Mendy, Ndombele, Aouar, Fekir at a knockdown price

The Madrid-based daily cites a report in German outlet Bild that the player has already moved all of his belongings out of Eintracht’s training ground ahead of a potential move."

Good match from us. Even until the second half but after that just the better team. Arsenal has few good chances that they didn’t take. Giroud, Emerson, Kante had good games. Emerson assisted opener and pressing high tackle for third goal, and I don’t think you can deny him just having pace and making good overlapping runs helps flow of our game.

I was surprised Hazard actually came outbasically saying he’s gone..I mean it was probable he was going but thought he’d still act more coy, something like ‘you never know in football, for now I’m just enjoying the trophy’ type of thing

I don’t think Hazard planned or wanted to reveal his decision. When the interviewer said “the fans want to know” etc. he looked resigned to talk about it.

I don't know why players don't just walk away from the interview when they ask that, and go back to celebrating instead. Especially if they've made it clear beforehand that they'd rather not talk about it. Cech was in a similar spot yesterday.

Kante had an okay/quietist game, hardly noticed him. Hazard was good in the 2nd half. Giroud was our best player.

Giroud was so up for that match. Was pressing hard as well all game. Have no complaints. I'd have Emerson at 7.5 as well. Azpi 7.

posted on 30/5/19

Emerson’s 6.5 rating comes from his attacking play. Defensively he was awful. Got destroyed or caught out of position numerous times.

Azpi was great defensively, just really poor at playing the ball out from the back.

You can't base player ratings whilst only watching the highlights on YouTube in the morning

Disagree. Don't think he was awful at all and you're being unnecessarily harsh on him. I can't really think of a situation where he was destroyed. Early first half he may have lost possession with a stay pass or so but I'll have to watch again I suppose.
