Frank on Mount: “The all-round game and quality of Mason Mount. He is the catalyst for us getting in front with his sharpness. He was brilliant for me at Derby. I did not expect this level but he is improving daily.”
Linchpin of Frank’s footballing ideals
what a game of Rugby that was
Wales
Fair play to Australia who came back, but Wales handled that last 13 minutes fantastically
Brilliant 2nd half, don't know how Wales survived that bashing, but they did

Wales good first half

They look class Obers..
I think the winners come from Wales , England or NZ can win this

I predicted Ireland before the tournament

Frank: "It is great for the club and a long time coming. The work is done in the academy. The mentality is great. They want to play for this club. At the moment they're earning it and setting a level for others. I've complete confidence in the lads"
"They are there on merit. Whatever game they take it on board and long may it continue."
Yep.
So much riding on the academy graduates and they are handling the pressure and step-up brilliantly thus far (which I knew they would under a familiar methodology, heavily influenced by Jody) and I'm loving it.
They are credit to the club and all the coaches that have nurtured them from childhood, up until now.
Very proud.
With any luck...the strong work ethic of the youngsters will rub-off on some of the senior players with slack complacent attitudes.
Need every squad member pushing/pulling in the same direction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In Jorginho we at least have one senior player they can look up to in terms of work ethic
Kante another
Azpi even though he looks a bit shot has shown work ethic as good as any Chelsea player in the Roman era over his time with us
I think azpi has been better in the last few games, yes he is on the decline, but calling for his head is remature imo.
Pedro needs to go in Jan and Willian needs to go at the end of the season
Sensationalising it to say anyone has called for his head
Hes played more games than any other player for us in the last few years and has a lot of miles on the clock for such an intense position (he is 20 apps off of being our 4th highest PL apps behind Cech, Lamps and Terry)
James can be heavily rotated with him and it will only be for the good of the team

Would be bold even for Lampard so far to have James start his first game for us (outside of against Grimsby) in a must win away CL match.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It probably would.....and yet...
Is it much bolder than his use of Mount?

Vetel had a kinetic failure and that allowed Hamilton to pit cheaply under a virtual safety car
Also Ferrai fecked up their strategy again
