Captain tomorrow.
I get the impression that some people on here think Chelsea are going to treat the FA Cup as joke.
I will be very surprised if Lampard disrespects the competition and Forest who are 4th placed in the Championship team by fielding a totally different second string starting eleven.
Our only realistic chance to win a trophy this season is via the FA Cup. It is a competition we have won 8 times. Some of the team predictions that have been posted on here are I think likely to prove to be pure fantasy.
You could be right Biggish but I do think there’s a good chance Lampard will try to rest as many players as possible, it’s one of the few chances he’ll get.

Anyway...relishing much needed wholesale changes to the lineup against Forest
Fresh young-ish side. Similar side to the one that Grimsby.

I don't think it will be a B-team, and Lampard will take it seriously, but it wouldn't shock me if the likes of Gilmour started, alongside experienced midfielders. Or if Christensen got a game.
More like:
Caballero
James Christensen Rudiger Emerson
Kovacic Gilmour
CHO Barkley Pulisic
Batshuayi
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, that is the sort of team I expect.

Even though Morris said in that video it wouldn't be the same amount of changes as Grimbsy
Bring on the similar starting lineup to Grimsby
Zouma & Alonso the only two that wont start from that lineup against Grimsby.
Kova for Gilmour (if he's still ill).
Ad Astra...decent film. A bit of a downer.
Thoughts?

60m for Alaba.
They'd never sell one of their best players to a CL opponent in February.

Morris on Hudson-Odoi: "He knows he can do better. He's been told he can do better, but at the same time, there are moments where you get things he was doing for instance in the Southampton game, he was doing some really good stuff off the ball which we've been asking from him.
"There were things that we were asking him to do that he was trying to do in the first half, which was pleasing for the manager.
"Being away for a year, obviously a lot can happen, especially at a young age. We all saw what happened with his contract, but now that's done and dusted, it is a little bit like 'ok let's knuckle down and get down to work'.
"He wants to work hard and wants to improve, but the proof is in the pudding, and when he gets his chance he's got to be ready to take it.
"He's a confident boy. He was asking me about stuff to do with his clips that he wanted to go through a couple of days ago, so I quite like that from him. When someone's actively trying to improve, then you've got a chance."
Callum always had a first-class attitude and mentality, contrary to misguided belief.
I recognise that, coaches recognise that and team-mates recognise that. All that matters to me👌
