Amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich (left) has kindly allowed NHS staff to stay at Stamford Bridge’s Millennium Hotel (left inset) for free to save long commutes after their exhausting shifts for an initial two-month period. Former England and Manchester United defender Gary Neville (centre) also opened the doors of his hotels to NHS staff and announced that staff at his Hotel Football (centre inset) and Stock Exchange hotels will not go out of pocket during the entirety of this global crisis - by ensuring that they will receive full pay as normal. But there has been no such gesture from Richard Branson (right), the billionaire founder of the Virgin Group, whose response to the coronavirus crisis was to ask the 8,571 staff of Virgin Airlines (right inset) to take eight weeks unpaid leave.

During his 11 seasons at Chelsea, Cech faced a total of 1241 shots on Target and saved 1000 of those, conceding 241 goals in 11 seasons!

22 Goals/season
Save percentage: 80.5%
166 clean sheets

I keep seeing people flapping their gums about how unfair it would be to finish the season as is, and how it would be fairer to just void the season.

To me, this is a bowl of fresh sh’te. Voiding 29 completed games and the time/preparation/effort that went into them is a much less fair outcome than missing out on 9 games IMO.

Not to say either is the ideal outcome, but it doesn’t seem like there is an ideal outcome. Only the least sh’te/unfair.

people will say its schmiechel although he had a nightmare near enough every time we played utd during his spell.
If cech played for utd and sch for us, everyone would say cech was the best.

If this thing lasts a year like some reports now suggest it couldbe January until football is resumed anyway. Could be the 2019-2021 season.

probably will be 2022 before professional starts up again imo
