From what I understand as long as you're not watching live tv or watching the BBC i player then you don't need a tv licence.
So for example if you're watching services like Netflix, Amazon Prime or Youtube or any of the players from other tv channels like 4od or whatever they call it now then you don't need a tv licence.

I don't know Oscar, the general public are so acquiescent and placid it seems. Nick I think that the government are going to shut the pubs again soon, maybe restaurants as well. Don't be surprised as they seem to want people socialising and talking about how absurd this whole thing is.

Flu is usually only 10k.
Covid is a lot worse than flu mainly because we have no protection. However 2017/2018 flu did caused 50,000 excess deaths and covid has only caused 42k deaths but that could of been double without the restrictions to be fair so I don’t really buy that side of things
Albeit lockdowns etc has probably saved 100k lives in the short term but caused double that in the long term
Flights covered using Avios and haven’t booked hotel yet
Give it another month of this and I’m sure I’ll want out of here for a week
