It will be interesting to see how Kovacic does today. Arguably going to be fresher than Mount.

I do worry a bit for Mason in this tournament. Firstly from an injury perspective and secondly from a performance perspective. I feel he has played way too many games and more importantly played too many games where he has had to drive Chelsea ithrough matches.

No, i think if we still need Giroud at this stage it reflects failure in the transfer market and/or our academy.

I also think he has been the model pro and deserves to play more regularly, albeit at a different club.

He is good enough to stay, but we should be looking more long term.

It's so England that we go into a tourno not knowing who's going to play or how we're going to play. So disorganized as usual. It's all just throw it together at the last minute and hope it works. You can't win a tourno that way. Semifinals at best for England.

I don't have much faith in Southgate not to cok this up. He isn't the right guy for this group of players. I can see us playing negative football with Mount stuck deep in midfield. Doubt both Grealish and Foden start. Wouldn't be surprised if neither start in fact.

Depends on what formation he chooses as to how many talented attacking players he can pick.

I wouldn't have Mount, Foden & Grealish all starting together. We'll need a player to run in behind when Kane comes short, so Sterling or Rashford on the left I'm guessing.
