strange game in the end. We could have had more, but arsenal also got through us way too easily. Azpi the only real standout defensively.

I thought Jorginho and Kovacic both did well going forward today/when we were in possession but it only takes opposing midfielders with slightly above average athleticism and technical skill to go through them defensively.

Yep,especially Jorghi. TT gave an excellent appraisal of Jorghino strength and weaknesses today
Tbf to them, I think our press was well short of its usual standard.
And both, particularly Jorgi, only look defensively competent when we are stopping passes into central midfield and the defence is stepping up behind them.

It’s a bit strange. I think he played well and has started the season well. But his limitations are so obvious and I have no doubt we’ll be a better side with Chilwell in the team.

Not to mention he almost always falls over when crossing or just making a pass
Alonso is okay against the crapper teams, his weakness are less exploited
He shouldn't play v Liverpool but I'm afraid he will because Chilwell hasn't played since the champions league final
I was just gunna say something similar Nick. Alonso playing well is a half decent performance. He does tend to start season well (over about 3-4 games) then drop off

strange game in the end. We could have had more, but arsenal also got through us way too easily. Azpi the only real standout defensively.
