Did anyone watch Saul before here? What type of midfielder is he?
Really thought Ziyech would be the signing who took to the PL like a duck to water, considering how electric that Ajax side was.
Just hasn't shown anything like what was expected of him though.

He had one game v Leeds where we all got excited then he disappeared.
It's weird, he still occasionally comes up with oddly important goals but he has never pulled the strings like I thought he would.

Ziyech is possibly my most disappointing signing we’ve ever made.
The guy is dripping with quality but has barely shown any of it here. Whatever the exact reason for that is we’ll probably never know but it’s such a shame.

I've been really surprised with how poor his passing is on the whole.
Today he had one good ball, which Havertz wasted with a poor touch, but other than that almost everything was overhit.
Can we also consign Alonso to the boot room finally.
He is painfully slow, although I strangely enjoy watching him sometimes. More out of curiousity than admiration

Could well be that Simon. He does.
Alonso is a perfectly fine squad player wing back who will score a decent haul of goals and will enjoy 1-2 month purple patches in the team - as long as he is accepted at that level I have no issue with him being in the squad.

I continually overestimate him
Still p’ssed off about the absolute shambles that is Mount’s penalty taking ability.
He needs to sort it out and I will lose it if we let him take another any time soon. Fecking sh’te at them
That pen was actually fine - it would go in 8/10 times, it was a very good save.
All in favour of taking him off pens though - Jorginho, Lukaku and James should be the main three.
The placement was okay, it’s more the fact he telegraphs where he’s putting it every single time. Just not good at them at all
Yeah I’m not so bothered about Mount’s pen today. It was much better than the two atrocities against Norwich. Good save.
James should be ahead of him in the pecking order though.
Didn’t like the run up from CHO but fortunately he picked his spot perfectly.
I didn’t see any of the game today

Ziyech is possibly my most disappointing signing we’ve ever made.
The guy is dripping with quality but has barely shown any of it here. Whatever the exact reason for that is we’ll probably never know but it’s such a shame.
