Does anyone else think that this striker from Villareal is the only one we will sign ahead of next season?

Na, I'd be surprised if we don't sign a midfielder. Not sure on goalkeeper but highly unlikely we will let Kante/kova/Havertz go without one replacement coming in

Oh yeah definitely we need a midfielder, I meant more in attacking sense. If I could pick the midfielder I would love for us to go for Kone @ Borussia Moechgladbach.

Yeah he's looked good at the U21s, we've been linked with him a bit but gone quiet recently.

I think something may come from the Veiga rumours whi is more of an attacking mid, but I don't think we will sign another striker. Most of the recent reports said a high profile striker would depend on who leaves, If Mount stays that's a decent chunk of money not coming in

Doesn't look as if signing a big name striker. Jackson, Broja and Nkunku as the options up front.

Probably a good thing considering the big money we've spent on strikers in the past. Napoli want too much for Osimhen who was probably our 1st choice.

Definitely signing a midfielder or two considering all the departures. Caicedo and someone like a Kudus makes sense.

We're well stacked in defence.

City are just way too strong under Pep. Rice and Gvardiol coming in is crazy lol

Edou Mendy gone as well.

Get a decent no 2 in or give Slonina an opportunity to challenge Kepa

Stones is basically a midfielder now and Ake plays mostly at LB. Though tbh, these days Pep shuffles around his backline almost as much as his attack. It's hard to even say whether they play with proper fullbacks anymore

Insanely long contract but I expect he'll be on reasonably low wages so it won't be too difficult to get rid if he flops (transfer fee permitting)

Any word on us getting shot of Havertz yet ?
