The one positive I can take from today is that James isn't sporting a shlt hairstyle. That's all I've got.
---------------------------------------------------
What? Don't believe you!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah first time I've seen him with a not shlt hairstyle. I will take comfort in that.
-------------------------------------------------------
Spending more time with grown men at the hospital doing him good then
Also surprised by how much worse Maatsen was than Cucurella. Terrible performance off the bench, assume he’s gone in Jan, especially with the rumours of contract offer rejections.
Yeah we'll do ok v Spurs, we're hopeless against low blocks.
1 step forward then 2 steps back with this team

Looks like he doesn't want to be here. I heavily suspect he's another one that goes on to bigger and better things at his next club. He's a very good player.

Do you blame him though. Great pre season, gets benched for a CB......
I'm going to angry nap. See ya
Does look like another midtable finish though, maybe can throw in a decent cup run

Im too angry to nap
This season is done. Poch clearly going to keep doing the same things over and over that aren't working which will result in getting sacked or he'll finally get things right by which time it will be far too late to get a EL place let alone a CL place.
We so much obviously lack a top striker but our setup isn't conducive to scoring goals anyway.
Yeah I suspect Poch will be on borrowed time should this continue. He will see out the season but if we finish 12th or worse I think we will be on the hunt again.
Sadly imo the identity of the club has changed a lot. Not the same pressure to win as we once had. Mentality around the club is a lot different. Expect the same players will post on Instagram etc saying keep the faith and we move on etc. Next week will be no different.
Breaking: Chelsea are looking for a new centre back to sign in 2024. (@FabrizioRomano)
1 win in 13 prem matches at home now. Sigh

We deserve exactly what we get for getting a failure Spurs manager in
-------------------------------------------------
Nah Poch was the right choice. If it doesn't work it doesn't work but the appointment made sense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Could you elaborate on that at all...

Owners are filling the team with young players at the expense of logical squad balancing + after Potter needed someone with big club credibility. Given these perimeters the only two realistic choices were Pochettino & Nagelsmann & the latter was being a shifty c*nt.
So basically then you are advocating us taking on ultimate failure at managerial level... Or at least this is the level we have stooped to now as a club because we haven't any other choices
Today was an obvious loss
Was half hoping we could take our form in today but alas the new Stoke got the win
Set up I feel was poor but but looked decent in first half
We ate going to really struggle against these sides all season
Still think we need to play more direct
Lots of un educated will say we need a striker but no striker in the world scores when they have 10 men behind the ball and we play possession in front of them
Nope, advocating us hiring a manager that benefits the direction the owners want to go in. If it was up to me that direction would've been different & Pochettino wouldn't have been a good fit.
Palmer the only one who looked like he could unpick a packed defence. At least he was a positive.
I think this is why we are all so angry about the Sanchez mistake last week. Cos we know we have to win those games as the next week we know we will lose.
Still no press conference from Poch. He won't be happy
Also, if sterling was a young player I bet the manager would highlight him and his role in Brentford’s first goal.
Awful by getting turned for no reason high up, then doesn’t chase back, then at the throw in let’s the runner off him and leaves cucurella 2 v 1.
Awful awful play from him when you have others today like Gallagher, cucurella, palmer putting in a shift

So clarify to me the direction Poch is currently taking...because he's going up dead ends most weeks
Also I haven’t blamed poch for a lot this year. Compared to potter and certainly lampard.
But so far
