It's difficult to know exactly why Tuchel made Sterling such a priority signing. Fortunately for him Tuchel hasn't had to live with the consequences of his decision.

He stated his reasons at the time how Sterling works opposing defenders hard for 90 minutes creating opportunities for the team.

And for the first third of the season he was doing just that and was arguably our best player before he fell of a cliff.

Like Klopp although in his case it was several months. No idea what's to be gained from doing that. Certainly hasn't worked for either of them.

I can give him a pass on the likes of Fofana who appears to be an uber crock, but the squad has almost entirely changed in the last two years, most of it in the last 18 months

So it can’t be previous coaches’ fault, it can’t be the medical staff’s fault since they only treat players once injured, they don’t train them.

The only people who are in charge of the training and recovery sessions that are causing these injuries (our players rarely get hurt by tackles or pull up injured during actual matches) are Poch and the staff he’s brought with him. It’s a trend that has been noted at PSG and Spurs as well.

Consider this: 14 players out and his only justification was based on one single player (Lavia), that he was already injured when he got here and that Poch didn’t have a training session with him, so he can’t possible be at fault for his injury.

He’s so stupid he doesn’t realise that this means he put Lavia straight into a PL match after a long spell out as soon as he was “ready” without a single training session. Then he of course instantly got re-injured and has been since

It’s on him, or at the very least it’s mainly on him.

I think we had the most injuries in europe season before last.
Last year were 1st/2nd in England with Utd.

This year on course to overtake newcastle for top spot.

There hasn’t been a single match day this season where we had less than 6 players out. Madness
