First, has he played the maximum number of games before it is automatically triggered?

And second, why do they NOT want to trigger it? Do they not want to sign him? Or do they want to sign him but for less than £35M?

Tell em it's fine

60 million and he's yours - no arguments, you don't want to pay that, send him back!

Over £430m spent on Caicedo, Enzo,Fofana, Kepa and Lukau, add Mudryk to the list and that's Al.ost £500m.

Kepa and Lukaku obviously no-on these owners though

Caicedo is looking like he will come good. Maybe not for what we paid but he’s looking sharp and aggressive and has a decent pass on him as well.

🚨 🇧🇷 BREAKING: Thiago Silva will be a Fluminense player!

In the last few hours, the club, athlete and his representatives reached an agreement until June 2026.

The idea of Fluminense is to present the Chelsea defender at Maracanã.

He'll never be worth what we paid. Once you accept that and just ignore what we paid then it becomes easier to appreciate that we have an improving player who could be integral in midfield for us for years to come.

Someone else will pay for £35 million if they don't. Hopefully Dortmund get to the CL Final so Maatsen continues to be on show for every club so see.

Yeah, my thought exactly. I have no problem if Dortmund don’t want to, or can’t, buy him. He’s done so well there I’m sure he won’t be short of suitors if we do still want to sell him.

Too much to expect us to actually use him I guess

Mind you there are players in the squad now that we don't use...Casadei comes to mind

Correct. Mudryk would not play ahead of him at Forest

We sold him for £5m, right?

Wonder if we have a buyback . Would probably be a nice cheap option for LW so we can focus our resources on getting an elite striker
