That wasn't terrible. Defence very solid and not overawed by occasion. It's a low bar, but much improved on Newcastle.

Main issue is going forwards, it looks so disjointed — we could play for 10 hours and not score.

No idea what Maresca is trying to do with Palmer. Has looked awful today but at the same time he's basically playing on the left (not even central). Completely wasted on that side. If this is how Maresca wants to use him, he might as well take him off for Lavia

Attacking positioning is all over the place. We only look like a threat in transition which suggests to me our in-possession structure is wrong

Tosin probably our best player. The rest have been very poor. Palmer playing at FB for most of the game.

Maresca playing him in the wrong position, needs to change it. Palmer on the right will give Williams pause too.

Surely United won't lose but you never know with them

We need to keep it tight and try to nick a goal

Think some people need to remember this is a tense nervy occasion for players in a hostile ground so it was never going to be a flawless display. Doesn't mean not questioning performances but this is just about a result today.

You've forgotten Brighton

It’s seems a touch futile. Want to be in the CL next year, but that would mean sticking with this coach and being an awful watch, probably getting smacked around and most likely getting dumped out in the league stage anyway.

Of course the club also needs the money with the crazy spending and loopholes closing.

Palmer hasn’t been bad but he’s spending most of the game at FB. Sancho has been our worst player for sure. You’d think he’d be trying to impress with this potentially being his last game.

Omg the Martinez red card is hilarious. It was so unnecessary. Even Utd should be able to get a result from here.

In which case a draw for us should probably suffice.

Because Palmer has stood out on the left and done absolutely nothing, is our golden boy, our game changer. Neto although frustrating has attacked, and yeh Sancho got nothing is a waste of time. But yeh we focus on Palmer because he's our star player.....Sancho and Neto arent
