Not too worried about maignan, if it happens it's a sublime signing. If it were me if pay the 25 mil but it goes against everything our board are in for

With Santos and estevao coming in next season and delap im not sure our GK position is a priority personally. Petrovic is good enough as our number one.

Sanchez just doesn't cut it. His distribution is terrible
But we have enough on our books to be calm

I'm excited about him too, especially as we've been so starved of proper number 9's here. At the same time I'm not going to put that kind of expectancy on him, he's still only 22 and has developing to do still.

Fact is we've got him for a mere £30 million which is nothing in today's market so he has no big transfer fee weighing him down which can only be good. He needs to improve in terms of goals though. Quite a lot tbh but he has every opportunity to do that here

If he bins off the u21s this summer for the cwc he will be in the England team by the end

Lukake says hold my beer. But yeah in general that's a fairly reasonable statement.

I'm glad we've got a number 9 who's going to be a proper physical 9 and fight for everything like this guy does. Goals may or may not come but at least you're going to get someone who's going to make life hell for opposition defenders.

I suspect that in time he'll become at least reasonably prolific although that might not happen overnight or even in his first or second season. But at very least we have another good option for the striker position.

Lukaku was fine for us until he threw his toys out the pram, he's an anomaly and fell out with the club. He'd have been fine otherwise

Doesn’t Gibbs White play in the same position as Palmer? Same with Morgan Rogers. Not sure either would make sense.

Brentford want at least £50m guaranteed and are pointing to the £62.5m paid for Matheus Cunha as comparable value.

#MUFC still optimistic of finalising an agreement knowing Mbeumo is keen on the move and a second bid is expected.🐝
