Club's not serious about challenging for the big titles so not surprised we won't go back in for a top GK, similarly an elite CB/forward.

I'm expecting AC Milan to contact us end of next month beginning of August to accept our original bid for him, as they wouldn't want him leaving for nothing.

Chelsea will look to step up their pursuit of Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, with Aston Villa's latest financial figures showing they need to raise £150-200m in order to comply with PSR rules and to avoid any penalties.

They were unwilling to entertain any bids for Rogers below £80 million, but may now have to become a bit more flexible. Chelsea may offer them Axel Disasi at a cut price fee as part of negotiations.
