If they wanr a solution, they need to be speaking with Chelsea not Bayern

‼️ Chelsea have already made multiple enquiries, including for Sporting CP and Denmark attacker Conrad Harder.

Few reports now saying Jackson may leave permanently, and is something Bayern are considering. But he wont be allowed to leave on loan regardless.

posted 1 week ago

Finding a replacement for Nicolas Jackson is part of the ongoing talks to allow Jackson to still sign for FC Bayern.

Chelsea have offered Bayern the option of signing Jackson permanently instead of on loan.

That doest give us much time to agree a deal on a new striker

Easiest solution is Bayern buy Jackson outright, and we bring forward Emegha's move to us. Probably screws over Strasbourg though.

Interesting last day or so in the window coming up.

Never a quiet day at Chelsea FC especially in the transfer market, very chaotic under this ownership lol

Woltemade is a fantastic striker. We should have signed him this summer and we were looking at him closely earlier in the window when he was kicking ass for Germany in the Euro Under 21's. But the club knows better right as we're seeing today lol.

We could have signed both Woltemade and Xavi Simons in this window if the club had organised properly but instead we end up signing some nobody that played for Leicester last season and recalling Jackson from Munich as he's about to sign for Bayern lol. Absolute dog's dinner this window ended as
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't know how you can call him a fantastic striker after 2 seasons in the Bundesliga, and only last season he did ok with 17 goals in all comps. Season before he got 2.

He's a talent with the potential of being good but it's not like he came cheap. We couldn't have signed him given we had already got in Delap and Pedro early on in the window.

Simons one does seem quite annoying as he was waiting for us all summer but again, I'm not sure he starts for us as he's a no 10 that can play in other positions. We already had that situation with Nkunku.

Club was adamant is getting a right footed LW hence the Garnacho deal being done first.

In a way I am relieved Delap was injured now and not in September and there' still time to fix this - no matter how chaotic!

I can quite easily, I'll do it again - Woltemade is a fantastic striker. See 👍. Having watched him play I think he's fantastic, if you don't think he is then you're fully entitled to your opinion. But I'm also certainly entitled to mine as well.

Just because he hasn't proved himself in the PL, he hasn't had the opportunity yet. And he's about more than just goals, even though I'm certain he'll score plenty in the PL. He's a lovely acquisition for Newcastle, just like Isak was for them.

For obvious reasons, I have lost a great deal of confidence when it comes to strikers coming to the PL from the BL.

However, on the bits and pieces I have seen of him, he just might be a bit different. I can't be as bullish as Superb just yet, but certainly think he has a good chance to work out for Newcas

Ben Jacobs -

Exclusive: Newcastle United made an improved £40m+£5m verbal offer for Yoane Wissa earlier this week, but Brentford delayed responding as they sought another striker.

Wissa’s statement comes off the back of a belief that Brentford are now holding out for £60m+ due to not finding a new attacker.🐝

Wissa-

This has never been about walking away from what is a fantastic football club. It’s about being allowed to move forward with Brentford's blessing based on a repeated commitment made that I could leave for a new chapter this summer.

“Being made to stay beyond this summer will only tarnish four wonderful years at this incredible club and so I ask Brentford’s owners and directors to now keep their word to let me leave in the final hours of the window."

Fair enough, just feel it's a bit early to call someone a fantastic striker after 2 full seasons in the top flight. One of them being a season in which he scored 2 goals in 30 games.

Not saying he won't turn out to be a decent signing for Newcastle but it was hardly a bargain at £65-70m

He was supposed to go Leipzig but now we've shown an interest. Gyokeres's backup at Sporting, he's hardly played and his record doesn't look great. If Sporting want him gone, they probably don't think much of him
