The last time Maresca got a ban was when he celebrated Neto’s late winner at Fulham last season. We need more of these moments.

De Bruyne should’ve been the more experienced head we should’ve went for. He wanted to stay in the PL as well.

He's on stupid money isn't he, no chance we sign anyone like that

£185k per week isn't much for a player of his quality.

Reggie Walsh will sign his first professional contract next week, as sources confirm he will sign a pre-agreed deal after turning 17. Chelsea were keen to tie him down, with head coach Enzo Maresca a particular fan of the England youth player.

it also states "high potential" in the article, thats not how i would describe a 31 year old signing.
hes a good player though, would be a good backup option in midfield
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I wouldn’t be against signing him - especially on a free. He would be a great squad player. But I can’t see it happening.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think it might be too late for him to have a PL advantage. He had so many gifts but speed wasn't one of them, playing in Serie A + couple of years in a sub standard quality league & PL midfields would dance around him now.
Real shame he didn't move across in his mid 20's. I had a mini fascination with Inzaghi's Lazio for almost a year, watched that team quite a bit, and he was a gem. United should've signed him instead of Pogba.

I'll be surprised if we're looking to strengthen the midfield as we've got several options there.
Defence/CBs and GK needs to be the focus

I don’t know if we’re convinced by all our midfield players. We’ve continued to be linked to Wharton, who fits our profile and is probably better than a few of our players. And Enzo often gets linked to Real Madrid too.

It's probably the strongest part of the squad when they're all available. Do we really need to spend millions on a Wharton/Anderson unless we're selling one of them?

International break did us some good in terms of getting players back from injury and certain ones having a rest - James and Caicedo.
Delap, Palmer, Essugo and Colwill long term injuries. Everyone else should be fit for Saturday.

Enzo Fernandez will likely be capable of facing Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Both Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana are expected to return.

Djok wants to play into 40s, i wonder if he has any chance of nicking a major with the current state of tennis. If one of Alcaraz or Sinner gets injured may be his best chance

Nah he won't win a major, he doesn't take part in many of the other tournaments so will slip down the rankings resulting in playing more seeded players.
Sinner and Alcaraz got a strangle hold of the majors, definitely need a few more people to breakthrough
