Pete isn't an idiot he's just a misguided old fool who sometimes speaks without thinking

Pep would turn us into serious contenders, we'd actually be able to compete for once
IAWT- He wouldn't sign the likes of Chamakh and Ramsey in the first place.
Sideshow I personally want Mourinho

Pat Rice - To be fair.. You have to have the talent at the club to challenge. Pep's a great manager but Barcelona were more or less top dogs already in Spain, Xavi was entering his peak when Pep turned up. Messi, Iniesta were improving year on year. It did all fall into place for Pep at the right time.

Pep isn't interested in the Chelsea job anyway, two completely different philosophies.

Jürgen Klopp. This is the person we need to get us back into winning trophies. Wenger has been great, but you can never excuse him of being a tactical genius. Klopp has the lot.

Klopp is not going to leave Dortmund so he is not even an option.

He's not going to leave yet, but neither is Wenger. I'm talking about when Wenger retires/leaves.
I think he has spoken about a sabbatical. He seems to get on with Wenger and as Arsenal seem to be Barca lite, perhaps may be a seamless change. How deeply would he get involved in the business side though ? Is he like Wenger in that regard.

Mourinho is just Alex McLeish, but with better looks.
Klopp rhymes with plop, so he's fine by me.
Wenger's contract ends in 2014, Klopp is contracted with Dortmund till 2016.

That's my point MrC.
The core of the Barcelona team was already put in place by rijkaard.
And on top of my head, apart from Villa, I don't really remember a world class signing by Pep!
