I am a schalke fan, and we have a squad no where near dortmund's,
manutd1982 - Well as they say, the grass isn't always greener. Unless he is exactly what you need, how often is he going to be in the starting line-up? At Dortmund it is almost a guarantee. Money is important these day.s, so you're right in that aspect. Also you weren't challenging in all competitions this season.
So you're telling me that tactics, and tactics alone have won Dortmund the double this season?

Don't put words in my mouth lol ..... I'm saying others in Germany have stronger individual talents in their squads. Which trumps up the manager's influence on his team.
If Dortmund are packed with individual talent, explain away their performance in Europe this season?

Torres, they had a decent group in the CL. What they didnt have was experienced. They were too naive in the CL League. They lost games which they shouldnt.
Torres's Psychologist
It was this squad's first season in europe, give them a chance to get some experience in it

No we weren't but all you have to do is look at us over the past 5 years to see that we are pretty much always there or there abouts and a lot of that is down to our experience. I just feel/hope that Kagawa would think this is the next step in his career, Dortmund are a great club with the highest attendance in Europe but United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, it must be hard to turn down.
I also think Kagawa could definitely be a regular for us, he would offer us something no one else in our squad can which is creating through the middle, if we played 4231 I think Kagawa could be great behind Rooney who could play as a false no 9.

Inexperienced side with many players competing in Europe for the first time. Granted they're group was poor, but I think that next season, they won't make the same mistake. Are you forgetting how long it took United, Arsenal, Chelsea and co to adjust to the Champions League.
manutd1982 - Well, you make a good case. Whether a move is right for him or not depends on his age in my opinion. If he's 18-21 he should stay and develop, if he's 22-25, then a move could be beneficial to him, providing it is the right one and a step-up as you say.
inexperience was their downfall in europe
just like city,
Think he's 23. If it were Götze then I would think differently as being German maybe he would have more of a reason to stay, and he is only 19. Kagawa must be grateful for what Dortmund has done for his career but he doesn't really owe them anything, if he want's to move then I'm sure he will.
