To finish in 6th, with the FA cup plus CL trophy with automatic qualification for next year - for sure i would!
We'd have increased funds with the cup wins plus we'd be a better position for any possible new signings due to us being "cup winners"!
I'm surprised we haven't won the FA cup in such a long time, through one of Utd's most successful era, 06 - 09 Utd won pretty much every trophy available bar the FA cup, I'd like to see us win that soon.
But even knowingthe results, could any sane person really have thought that Chelsea would triumph over Barca, even by anti-football means, and then go on to squeeze past Bayern by almost the same means.
All I can reiterate is ...well, 'lucky Chelsea'.
And before that, the diabolical game with QPR and City, which could have gone either way...not a clean, clear cut winner there either, although they make it sound as though City actually trounced United and the rest of the league.
Was quite heart breaking really, and could, should have, easily gone the other way.
losing by a nose is not a question of shame! Toss up, one side has to lose...unfortunately it was United.

the 04-05 final was a shocker. the ball wouldn't have gone in if we were still playing now.

Don't forget the Pompey match.
