Dave Whelan must be the hardest working sky sports news correspondent, he's been at it again and I quote "Liverpool may deny it but I think Roberto was they're number one!"

Really Dave? Just like we made him an offer?

Marvin. If you have nothing nice to say......

lol - you're patently not the sharpest knife in the block & have not quite figured what I was saying.

When a Chairman approaches a club for permission to speak to their manager, then the selection process has already taken place, as they've whittled their list down to the 1 that they want.

A club asking for permission to speak to their manager, when he's one of many who's under consideration is not how it works - hence the reason that Rodgers told FSG to poke that idea when they first approached him

Go lie down & rest your brain cell.

mankey mange - you contribute knack all to the debate - ever, as you're vacuous. So your comment is like Fred West calling The Ripper a pervert.

'is not how it works' - is that a law? Seems a bit stupid to me really, surely you need to talk to people to see if they are what you want?!

Out of interest, how many managers were Everton linked with before settling for trophy-repellent Moyes?
----------------------------------------------------------

For the hard of thinking;

Linked................

Formal approach.............

Try actually taking on baord what's been said, I was talking about a 'formal approach', not the selection process.

Once it gets to 'formal approach' they've made their selection.

Oh & I run a very succesful business thanks.

Trouble is Tobes, you're not allowed to speak to managers, or players, who are under contract 'off the record'. It's known as tapping-up

Really...........

A Rap

That's just it. Our Tobes doesn't realise the difference between 'carefully considered' and formally approached. Add in him taking every bit of speculation in the press as gospel, and you have us going for everyone.
