Fran Merida or Jeremie Aliadiere.
Dimitar Berbatov without a doubt
Not to far behind Ronaldo (proper one). Okay he was blighted by injury but he could easily have broken records had he not put the weight on, to retire as early as he did as well
Ricardo Quaresma.
This guy was being touted as better than C.Ronaldo, in terms of ability and potential. Not really sure what happened..
Reyes is a good shout. Bloke looked like Ronaldo for 6 months.
ben arfa, until we saved him
And although he's not the biggest waste in history, Diaby's story makes me want to cry.
Isn't Ricardo Quaresma still in the Portugese national squad?
Modric as well, totally wasted at Spurs. At United or Chelsea he could have become the best midfielder in the world IMO
Reyes and Merida are both good players for Atleti!!
Look outside former Arsenal players!!
But Reyes looked like a worldbeater and now he's about at the same level as Rosicky or Benayoun
I would also say Adriano. Where the hell is he now? The guy was an absolute monster at his best.
Fred, I assumed as this was on the Arsenal board and the OP talked about an Arsenal player it was about Arsenal youngsters who never made it to the heights they should.
Reyes could have been one of the best players in the world though but he didn't have the right attitude.
julio baptista, should have never went to madrid, they ruined him
Reyes and Merida are both good players for Atleti!!

Oh and Merida isn't. Barely ever plays for them, 1 appearance this season and loaned out for a period.
