Counter attacking football is clever. Abosrb the pressure, then hit them with quick, insisive play through talented quick forwards ala Portugal
Did you watch them against Germany or after being 2 nil up against Denmark? There wasn't much counter attacking going on in those games.

Thell be the first to admit they got their tactics wrong vs Germany. Theyv changed it since that game to a more attacking game giving Ronaldo more freedom to roam into the middle
2-0 up vs Denmakr, most teams would shut up shop.

Ronaldo started to get more success when real were brave and played ozil, kept it narrow and tight and broke quickly. Only difference is that ronaldo doesn't have ozil and xabi alonso to supply the ammo. Spain win

With Spain certain to dominate the possession, sure that Ronaldo and co. would go into a submarine and Ronaldo is as frustrating as in Man Utd or RM vs. Barca.
Not so easy for Spain to go through the Portugal's defence and defensive midfield though, and I guess only 1-0 or 2-0 for Spain. Hope they will start with a real striker. After 4 matches I haven't seen Cesc ever excellent in the front to keep Torres out.
