Messi is better. Now that's truly the end of discussion.
People slag off Ronaldo as if his goals to game ratio is average. He performs way beyond the average striker (bare in mind he is not an out and out striker), has to deal with intense expectation every time he steps on the field, gets double/ triple marked by defenders. What more does he have to do to prove himself??
Just be grateful that we have Messi and Ronaldo to watch reguarly, we could be stuck with watching Downing and Carroll instead

Pirlo was average against Croatia and Ireland.
Ronaldo was average against Germany and Denmark.
Ronaldo was awful against Germany and Denmark.
Spain will play narrow and we will play wide. Both of us have had players recently hitting form and I reckon the game will be settled by a margin of one goal - 2-1 or maybe another 3-2. It could so easily go either way and Ronaldo's performance matters more than that of anyone else, because nobody on the field can change a game like he can.
He was good against Denmark. Just his finishing was uncharacteristically poor.

WHITE chocolate buttons are better.
But they've stripped the nutrional goodness out of the choco bean to get that white chocolate flavour.

I really don't get why he went for Negredo over Torres and Cesc.
Was he like - "I'm going to do something controversial today!!"
Negredo is exactly the player who will cause some problems for Portugal defence. Good choice I think.
