He was fantastic before the world cup - best left back in the prem by some way. Don't know what the French did to him but he definitely wasn't at it last season. Bit like the curse of England selection I suppose.
One relatively poor season does not make a bad player. Does this season make Torres a poor player?
Previous to the WC last year he has always been one of our better performers every year and the twins are both right footed and you need a left footer at left back. So I think we should keep Evra.

He looks short on confidence, still gets forward but his initial burst of speed and positional sense aren't the same.
Saying that he is still quality and we shouldn't sell.
He doesnt have a clue where he is. He is constantly caught out of position Vidic then pulls out of the middle to make up for it. Then Evra fills in for Vidic!!! Evra who os about 5ft 8
Evra would be in high demand if Utd were to try and sell him. The guy is quality and one quiet season wont matter at all.

He is just short on confidence as happens to so many players at some point. Once he gets a good pre season under his belt he will improve for the new season

Its a little sad that having spent years building yourself to become the best/one of the best around, all it takes is a handful of less than average showings for the nay sayers to be out in force.
Ashley Cole had a season to forget both and and off the field. Has he suddenly become average?
Evra is still the best LB at the club, and we have had 4 defenders try that position last year (O Shea, Evans, Fabio and Evra).
He's not as good as he was but still better than all but the very top players.
Evra is quality. Dont know what the OP is on about. Probably wumming a little.

Why am I being accused of being a "wum" and a "clown" just because i dont think Evra is a good player?
Must be one of the most luckless people in the CL. Been on the losing side in 3 finals now!
Having said that, to say he's over-rated on the back of 1 bad season is daft, he's been one of the most consistent, ever present performers in an all conquering Man United outfit
